Diagnostics Conference Dresden 2024: DSA presents solutions for efficient diagnostic processes throughout the vehicle life cycle

From May 14th to 15th, 2024, DSA will once again participate in the conference on “Diagnostics in Mechatronic Vehicle Systems” in Dresden with a specialist presentation. The annual conference offers developers, car manufacturers, service providers and suppliers a platform for dialogue. The presentation will focus on the development of an overall architecture for a seamless vehicle diagnostics system, which is intended to increase the efficiency of diagnostics over the entire life cycle.

Vehicle diagnostics is currently split across different life cycle phases, which leads to repeated development and integration of diagnostic and test sequences. The trend is towards connected vehicles and cloud-based systems, as well as the need for closer integration between engineering and the following phases of production and after-sales in the workshop or over-the-air. In the presentation, Dr Simon Becker from DSA will show how off-board diagnostics can move into the vehicle as a result of this trend to enable more efficient reuse of diagnostic functions and central management of lifecycle management data.
