DSA welcomes MAN and Microsoft to an expert workshop

What does the future of vehicle production and fleet management look like in the age of digitalisation? Representatives of MAN Truck & Bus SE and Microsoft attended a joint workshop on these topics at DSA in Aachen on 14 and 15 January 2020.

DSA presented its new concepts for 'Connected Truck Lifecycle Management' based on end-user-oriented scenarios. Taking digitally supported production control, which brings more transparency and quality to work processes, the experts also discussed the opportunities of digitally controlled fleet management.

Based on the real example of FBR Fertigbeton Rheinland GmbH & Co. KG, the participants were able to learn more about the range of services offered by DSA's fleet management and workshop solutions on site. On the drive with a 'Connected Truck' to the company location of FBR, the participants could get an own impression of how vehicle data for process documentation and predictive maintenance applications are generated and provided.

We would like to thank MAN and Microsoft for the great interest in the DSA concepts and the company FBR for the invitation to the Düren location. Once again, the event revealed the importance of business partnerships and cooperation in the development of innovative market solutions for DSA.
