DSA supports Charlemagne Prize Documentation Centre in Aachen's Grashaus

As part of its commitment to the International Charlemagne Prize of Aachen, DSA supports the Charlemagne Prize Documentation Centre in Aachen's historic Grashaus. In doing so, the company strengthens the region and at the same time sends a clear signal in support of the European idea.

A European place of learning and remembrance

The Grashaus, one of the oldest buildings in Aachen, is now a central European place of learning and remembrance. As the seat of the Documentation Centre, it conveys the history of the Charlemagne Prize, portrays the prize winners and places their work in the context of European unification.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the International Charlemagne Prize, Dr. Jürgen Linden, Chairman of the Charlemagne Prize Board of Directors, opened the exhibition „75 Years of the Charlemagne Prize in the Mirror of History“ in the Grashaus on the 24th of November 2025. The exhibition traces the political, social and cultural developments in Europe since 1950 and underlines the importance of the Charlemagne Prize as a catalyst for peace, democracy and cohesion.

Responsibility for Europe

With its support, DSA is helping to further expand the Centre's educational and outreach work. Modern, interactive formats give younger people in particular a lively introduction to European history and encourage them to engage with current issues.

For DSA, this commitment is an expression of value-based corporate management. European understanding, democratic stability and cross-border cooperation form a central basis for economic activity – and thus also for the company's own corporate identity.
