Our last preparations for this year’s automotive testing expo are in full swing. In a few weeks, we will show you how you can make the entire electronic vehicle configuration and the E/E diagnostic process fit for the digital future with the help of our innovative and flexible hardware and software solutions.
High-Voltage Battery Tester (HVBT)
The testing and verification of high-voltage batteries for hybrid and electric vehicles requires modern test systems. We have responded to the new requirements of our customers by developing the High Voltage Battery Tester (HVBT), which meets the usual standards of measurement, reliability and safety and can be flexibly integrated into demanding test processes.
In combination with our Module Test Systems MTS, the High-Voltage Battery Tester is able to flash the control unit in the battery, to communicate with it and so to activate the battery. Subsequently, complex measurements are carried out within the battery with the help of the control unit. In addition to querying various measurement results of the Battery Management System (BMS), the HVBT can initiate charging and discharging processes and verify the measurements of the BMS. Charging and discharging units of the HVBT regarding power and voltage can be customized. Moreover, electrical high voltage tests (insulation tests) can be performed by the HVBT.
In addition, our HVBT can perform non-electrical measurements, such as the leak test of the cooling circuits. The operation of the safety circuit (High Voltage Interlock System) is no problem.
