Searching, testing and examining new solutions and at the same time still becoming a bit more efficient:
In the demo factory of the Center Connected Industry, we prototypically implemented several new key technologies for digital automobile production. We were able to present the new possibilities for dynamic vehicle assembly and electronic commissioning to one of our largest customers in the automotive industry.
Integration of External Systems
Our solutions for electronic assembly control not only include the digitization of the worker but also the integration of external systems, M2M communication and automation. The PRODIS system is able to communicate with a variety of external device types such as robots or screwdrivers. For example, a robot controlled by the PRODIS system can work in parallel with the worker and perform semi-automated tests. This not only excludes human error sources during assembly and improves quality, but at the same time significantly reduces the production time.
Our PRODIS system can control the commissioning process and provide the user with just-in-time information even when the DSA devices are not in use.
In addition to the integration of machines, we are also able to integrate external positioning systems into our solutions. In the DSA server backend PRODIS.PlantHUB, for example, the exact position of the production employees can be viewed in the production line via Ubisense.
