From March 22nd to 23rd, various diagnostic specialists from manufacturer and supplier companies met at this year's CTI conference in Munich. Also this year, DSA attended the conference as exhibitor, was represented in the lecture program and, with other experts, exchanged views on trends and the latest developments in the field of vehicle diagnostics.
In the light of future topics like connectivity and e-mobility, Mario Alberto Ortegón-Cabrera (DSA Product Portfolio Manager) and Steve Nikulin (Managing Director R&D, EE and E-Drive, ICONIQ Motors), gave a presentation on the subject of "ICONIQ Motors – Truly Unique Future Mobility". In this case study, they presented a connected vehicle solution which—with the help of DSA products—includes the aspects telemetry, diagnostics as well as remote control and considers market-specific challenges like fleet management, data security and more.
Furthermore, Dr. Simon Becker (DSA Product Portfolio Manager) and Dr. Roland Stoffel (DSA SKYLYZE Data Scientist) gave a talk about the cooperative data analysis in so-called "smart ecosystems". Under the title "Analytics of Diagnostic Data within the Automotive Supply Chain", they presented the research project PRO-OPT, which is funded as part of the smart data technology program of the Federal Ministry of Economics.
We are already looking forward to exciting exchanges in the coming years.
