The Hospiz am Iterbach takes care of patients suffering from terminal illnesses in the last phase of their lives. Once again, this important project has received financial support from the Schäfer-Schulz Foundation, the foundation of the Aachen-based company DSA. The donation of 10,000€ was handed over during the anniversary celebration of the Hospizstiftung on September 1, 2021.
To support this important individual and social task, the DSA has made a generous donation to the Hospizstiftung for the second time since 2020. "As a company, we are part of society - globally and regionally. This results in a social responsibility of which we are aware. This results in a social responsibility of which we are aware. It is something we take on within the scope of our influence, and we are particularly committed to local institutions such as the Hospizstiftung Region Aachen," explains Eckhard Schulz, founder and Managing Director of DSA and Chairman of the Board of the Dres. Schäfer-Schulz Foundation.
Supporting the Hospizstiftung Region Aachen is just one example of the company's local commitment. United under the roof of the Dres. Schäfer-Schulz Foundation, DSA supports projects in the areas of culture, social affairs and science.
For several years DSA has been committed to the promotion of young talents at RWTH University Aachen and Aachen University of Applied Sciences. DSA awards annual scholarships and thus supports the academic training of young people on their way into the professional world. In the area of local cultural heritage, DSA initiated and implemented the construction of the Archaeological Showcase in Aachen's city center, thus enabling the presentation of important archaeological artefacts from Aachen's urban history to all interested parties.
