Kids of DSA employees enjoy holiday activities
For the first time, DSA organised holiday activities for children whose parents work at DSA during this year's summer holidays. With the motto "Kids@DSA - Deep Dive Mobility meets Digitalisation", the kids could have a week of fun indoors and outdoors during their parents' working hours. A number of parents were happy to take up the offer and knew their children were in good hands the whole week.
The children aged 5–12 enjoyed a varied programme that was all about experiencing the world and not just having it explained to them. In keeping with DSA's scope of expertise, the children were given a child-friendly insight into the digital world on two "Digi Days". On the other days, the focus was on "mobility" in the sense of movement. Special highlights included trips to an indoor climbing gym and an adventure playground.
With this offer, DSA not only gave employees' families support with the annual childcare issue during the summer holidays. By spending time on the DSA premises and on the DSA grounds every day, the children also learned about their parents' area of work and activities in a playful way.
The cheerful noise of the children on the large DSA meadow became a pleasant background sound during these days. At least the children agreed that the holiday activities should take place again next year. DSA is pleased to achieve two goals at once with this initiative by reducing the problem of finding daycare during the holidays and at the same time raising the kids' enthusiasm for DSA topics.
