Remote Communication Unit

The Remote Communication Unit (RCU) may be used as a wireless terminal and as a remote control unit for devices in the DSA test system family. The RCU is used as a WLAN-terminal for operator interaction with test stations. Another application is to serve as channel for the runtime system PRODIS.RTS, which is capable to fully control tests with subsystems like ECOS, current probes (ICP) or Mobile Diagnostic Interfaces (MDI). Test sequences are created with PRODIS.Office. The keyboard allows for input of alphanumeric and special characters (input as with a mobile phone). 1D or 2D barcode readers may be added as extra options.

- Remote control unit for DSA test systems
- Wireless terminal
- Wireless barcode reader
- ECOS with DSA current probe ICP (without external PC)
- Stand-alone ECU diagnostics with mobile diagnostic interfaces (MDI)
- Execution of vehicle audits (test plans are editable and dependent on vehicle configuration; linkage to superior statistic systems)
Benefits
- Autonomous use
- Low weight
- Ergonomic design
- Portable operation
- Robust housing for industrial applications
- Operation with DSA’s test devices:
- MFT (series D or later)
- MDI (series E or later)
- MTS-3 (as remote control)
- ICP (as stand-alone ECOS)
- Test sequences creation with PRODIS.Office
