New to the Infotainment Checkout System ICS is the radio microphone ICS-MIC2 that replaces the approved model ICS-MIC. The range of application has been considerably increased by a series of additional functions.
The ICS-MIC2 allows e. g. the testing of a USB port integrated in the cockpit or the measuring of the impedance of a stereo "Aux-In" socket. Additionally, as optional equipment a speaker is available that allows the testing of voice-operated components.
In order to simplify the handling we developed a new pairing method that manages the assignment between microphone and base station nearly automatically. Various interfaces (Ethernet, serial) for the connection to the ICS PC are available.
