Multi-Function Tester MFT-D2X

The MFT-D2X is a universal mobile device for testing, ECU programming and diagnostics. The high-end unit can be used in manufacturing test applications as well as in service bay areas.

The MFT-D2X is equipped with a microprocessor system which controls the test sequences and analysis of test results independently from the management system.

The built-in VCI (Vehicle Communication Interface) enables simultaneous diagnosis of a number of vehicle ECUs.

Test results and measurement values are communicated to the management system via an integrated WLAN radio interface. The MFT-D2X is capable of communicating with subsystems via infrared (FIR), WLAN or Bluetooth depending on its equipment configuration.

Due to new requirements the device is prepared for software applications that meet the following standards:

  • M-VCI (ISO 22900-1, ISO 22900-2)
  • ASAM MCD 2D / ODX (ISO 22901) for im- and export of diagnostic data and for driving the internal MCD 3D kernel
