The Mobile Diagnostic Interface MDI-G is a handy, universal interface to perform ECU diagnostics communication. The device can typically be used in development laboratories or at ECU manufacturers as well as in the manufacturing environment (end-of-line test) and in after-sales service.

Running PRODIS.MDI communication software the MDI-G is capable of running diagnostic commands on connected ECUs. The MDI-G receives the diagnostic commands from a control computer (host). For interconnection with the vehicle an OBD-compatible connecting cable is available, the use of customer-specific cables is possible. The connection to the host is carried out either wired (Ethernet, USB) or wireless (WLAN, Bluetooth).

The software supports parallelism of diagnostic processes, the use of parallel bus systems and simultaneous logging.
With regard to future requirements the device is prepared for software applications which meet the following standards: D-PDU API (ISO 22900-2), KWP2000, UDS
