Infotainment Checkout System ICS

The Infotainment Checkout System (ICS) is used in vehicle assembly plants to check the following  equipment for correct installation and performance:

• Antennae
• Analogue & digital radios
• Speakers
• Mobile phones
• Hands-free mobile phone systems
• Navigation systems
• Telematics
• TV tuners
• Cabling of the above items

The ICS is a modular system. It can be designed to meet customer specific requirements in terms of the technical requirements for the components to be tested.The ICS can be used as a stand-alone device (or used in conjunction) with DSA´s PRODIS test equipment.

When used in a combined application, the management system would control a test sequence, and via diagnosis measure the performance of a targeted equipment item (e.g. call acceptance for the hands-free phone system).

This achieves testing which is free of operator intervention, while at the same time ensuring reproducible results and objective analysis. The open and extendable design of the ICS gives operators a completely free choice in defining limit values, test parameters and depth of inspection. Full adaptation to your test task is ensured by the extendibility of the ICS.
