Intelligent Current Probe ICP

The recording and analysis of the current-voltage characteristics of electrical consumers is achieved by the ICP (Intelligent Current Probe). This is key to correct assembly and performance of the on board electrical equipment in vehicles.

Contactless, inductive measurement via the high accuracy ICP simplifies adaptation without the necessity to disconnect the battery terminals. For voltage measurement and power supply the standard procedure is to clamp the ICP to the battery terminals.

The ICP includes a radio interface (Bluetooth or DSA-radio GIGA-2, -3) which enables the exchange of commands and result data with a handheld terminal (RCU), a Multi-Function Tester (MFT), or a stationary computer.
