Intelligent Current Probe ICP3

The recording and analysis of the current-voltage characteristics of electrical consumers is achieved by the ICP3 (Intelligent Current Probe). This is key to correct assembly and performance of the on board electrical equipment in vehicles.
Contactless, inductive measurement via the high accuracy ICP3 simplifies adaptation without the necessity to disconnect the battery terminals. For voltage measurement and power supply the standard procedure is to clamp the ICP3 to the battery terminals.
The ICP3 includes a radio interface (Bluetooth) which enables the exchange of commands and result data with a handheld terminal (RCU), a Multi-Function Tester (MFT), or a stationary computer.
The ICP3 contains a novel closing device, which safely encloses even inflexible cable harnesses without imposing too mch pressure on the measurement head.
Via a small LCD various status details are clearly displayed – e.g. battery charging status, radio connection status.
